Bible Study

The Bible is the road map to the Christians life, the real joy of studying the Bible is to gain a greater understanding of what God has done for us and what he wants to do for us. It's also a time to find out how he wants us to live our lives, to help us to serve Him in a way that brings glory to His name.

Bible studies take place in small groups, usually with a maximum of 12 people so that everyone can have a chance to ask questions. Our studies are about allowing people to find the answers in the Bible for themselves and so studies tend to vary according to those attending.

See the diary section to the right of this page for the times and places. It's always worth sending an email or phoning before attending just in case the location has changed due to holidays etc.

Some common questions about Bible Studies.

Q) Do I have to be part of the West Side Fellowship?
A) No, we have people from a number of churches attending our studies.

Q) I don’t know much about the Bible.
A) That’s why we study the Bible, none of us know it all. We all have more to learn including those who teach.

Q) I don’t go to church.
A) Not a problem, you are still more than welcome to join us.

Q) What if I have questions during a study?
A) We encourage people to ask questions during a Bible study as it enables us to make sure that we all understand an issue. Most questions people ask are the questions someone else was too shy to ask.

Q) Which group should I join?
A) Choose the group that is easiest to get to or is at a time that’s most suitable for you.
